Reiki Level 1 - Shoden
Shoden = "beginning teachings". Most welcome to this first level of teachings of Reiki, a hands-on energy healing therapy to be used for your self or others.
Shoden is a Japanese word meaning ‘first teachings’. And as the word implies, this course is an introduction to Reiki, a hands-on energy healing therapy with its roots in Japanese origin. In this course you will learn tools to create health within, and for some it might also open up to get in touch with your intuitive gifts
Reiki can be translated as Universal Energy, or Spiritual Life Force. An intelligent and balancing energy, that anyone can tune into, that can help our body to heal on all levels: the physical, emotional, mental, energetic and spiritual
Reiki has a gentle and non-intrusive way to open up the energy pathways and is an ideal practice for anyone who is interested or curious about energy medicine to expand your knowledge as well as develop spiritually and feel better in all our bodies. Reiki is wonderful to use on ourselves, loved ones (incl kids), our pets or as a compliment if you are already involved in healing or therapeutic work of any kind.
This 2 day course is a combination of lectures, discussion and hands-on-practice. We will be a small group of 4-6 persons.
What You’ll Learn (Reiki Shoden):
The understanding and history of Reiki
Learn the basics of Reiki healing work
How to give Reiki healing to yourself and others
How to ground, clear and protect your energy
The Gokai, (five principles of Reiki) for developing a spiritual and mental connection
The hands-on practice of Reiki on self and others (there is an encouragement to practice intuitively, but hand placements and sequences are also shown)
Learning about the aura, our chakras and how we can work to balance our chakras
Receive Reiju, the attunement to the first Shiraishi (symbol) to deepen one’s energetic connection and enable you to channel Reiki energy) and jumon (mantra) in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage
Okuden translates into ‘inner teachings’. And this is just about that. This is a journey towards a deeper understanding and connection to Reiki, and the energy you do not always see, and that even can travel through time and space. You will learn new techniques for developing a deeper trust with intuition and for some it may open a door to increased psychic abilities.You will also be introduced to further Japanese jumon (mantras) and shirushi (symbols).
Okuden continues to build on the knowledge and skill to help others professionally both in person but we will also explore working with Reiki long-distance. Distant healing is a very beautifil and fulfilling practice, and the energetic connection can be profound and deep even if you are not in the same room or even country. Hard to explain, but it is truly felt.
My intention is to continue to share the knowledge of energy, natural healing with all who feel the desire to learn - whether it is for your own personal development or to use in your profession. Or, create a new one ;)
This course is a two day training, since it is beneficial to have a pause to digest the information but also since the attunements you will receive are detoxifying, and a restful night will help your own energy and promote your own self-healing. The training is a combination of lecture, discussion, hands-on practice, and home review.

*If you have not studied with me before I will ask that you send me a photo of your diploma, and we will chat beforehand what you’ve already learned.
Reiki Level 2 - Okuden
What You’ll Learn (Reiki Okuden):
Review of Reiki level one
Reiki tools and techniques (including Byosen) to assist in advancing your practice
Enhance and explore working intuitively
Practice long distance healing
Learning about the tandems as well as chakras
Learn two new reiki symbols
Okuden Reiju, attunement, and learn 2 new Shiraishi (symbols) and jumon (mantra) in the Usui Shiki Ryoho lineage. (if you have not studied with me for Shoden and have not received the first symbol you will too)

Distance healing practice
Materials and resources
Reiki Diploma (after homework is completed)
Individual 30-minute follow up via Zoom within 6 weeks after course (Okuden)
Group Reiki follow ups by request - all levels, general questions and a led self-Reiki session, plus recieved distant Reiki

If you've never had a reiki session before, it is a strong suggestion to have one prior the Reiki training. Let me know and I will happily help you find someone or give a recommendation if you are looking for a practitioner in your area.
You are ofc welcome to book a session with me for 20% discount, but I just want to make sure you know it does not have to be a session with me.
