About Kia Agerhem
BREATH · ENERGY · PRESENCE
I create the conditions for transformation.
Through breath, nervous system awareness, energy work and the subconscious, I help people reconnect with themselves — not by becoming someone else, but by uncovering more of who they already are.
My work is rooted in curiosity about both what we can understand — and what we experience beyond what we can explain.
Sometimes that means working with the physiology of the breath or understanding the nervous system. Sometimes it means entering the quieter territories of energy, intuition, emotion and the subconscious.
I don't believe these perspectives need to compete, or that we have to choose between them.
You don't have to know the path.
Just feel the pull — and I'll walk with you.
“Thank you. I felt a connection with myself that I have not felt in a very long time. If ever.
Kia is absolutely fantastic and she has really helped me find home in myself via guiding through magical experiences. Incredibly warm, professional, listening and knowledgeable, without judgement. She has helped me change my life!”
Who is Kia Agerhem?
I'm Kia Agerhem, founder of Shape Your Vibe, based in Stockholm and working with people both in person and online all over the world.
I'm a certified Breathwork facilitator and Reiki Master Teacher, but my work today has grown beyond any single practice or modality. I bring together breath, nervous system awareness, energy work, meditation, conversation and deeper inner practices — depending on the person, the moment and what the work calls for.
People come to this work for many different reasons. Sometimes it begins with something very tangible — stress, feeling overwhelmed or disconnected, wanting to slow down and land back in the body. At other times, the pull is toward emotional wellbeing, deeper self-understanding, creativity, personal growth or spiritual exploration.
I don't experience the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual as entirely separate parts of us. What happens in one can often be felt in another.
My relationship with this work spans more than two decades, beginning with yoga and meditation around 2000 and gradually expanding into Breathwork, Reiki, energy work, the nervous system, altered states, and the subconscious.
Before moving fully into this field, I spent more than 15 years in business and leadership, including executive and CEO roles. It may look like a completely different world, but I've come to see a common thread between them: a fascination with what creates meaningful change — in people, in systems and in the way we live.
Where Science Meets Intuition
I'm fascinated by what happens within us — physiologically, emotionally, energetically and in the parts of human experience that are harder to name.
Science gives us increasingly sophisticated ways of understanding the nervous system, the brain, breathing physiology, emotion and embodied experience. These perspectives are an important part of how I understand and work with people.
And yet, years of working with Breathwork, Reiki and altered or expanded states of awareness have also taught me to stay curious about experiences that don't fit neatly into what we can currently measure or explain.
I don't need one perspective to invalidate the other.
We can understand how changes in breathing affect CO₂, blood chemistry and the nervous system, while remaining curious about why a person encounters a forgotten memory, a powerful image, an emotion, a sense of connection or something they experience as energy.
Science can help us understand the mechanism without necessarily defining the meaning of the experience.
This is where much of my work lives: where science meets intuition, and curiosity is allowed to remain open.
“My most well invested money ever!”
From the Outer World to the Inner One
My path here hasn't been particularly linear.
I became a pilot, educated further as an engineer, and spent more than 15 years in business and leadership, including executive and CEO roles. Along the way there were also years shaped by skiing, surfing, travel and a fairly persistent appetite for movement, challenge and adventure.
I'm not naturally the calmest person in the room — and I've never been particularly interested in becoming her.
What has always interested me is depth — what is real (underneath the surface).
Yoga and meditation entered my life around 2000, long before this became my profession. What began as a personal exploration gradually expanded into Breathwork, Reiki, energy work, the nervous system, inner and altered states of awareness.
For years, those worlds existed alongside my professional life. In one, I worked with organisations, leadership, strategy and change. In the other, I became increasingly curious about what creates change within us.
Eventually, the inner world became the work.
But I don't experience my earlier life as something I left behind. It shaped how I work today: curious rather than dogmatic, grounded without needing everything to be explainable, and comfortable both with intensity and with stillness.
Perhaps that is why I don't believe transformation has to look one particular way.
And not every inner experience needs to be interpreted, fixed or turned into a self-improvement project.
Sometimes it is profound and confronting. Sometimes it is quiet. Sometimes it comes with tears. Sometimes with laughter.
Sometimes something arises simply to be felt, witnessed or experienced. And sometimes nothing needs to be changed at all.
Transformation doesn't always mean becoming more. Sometimes it means meeting more of what is already here.

Experience, Training & Practice
My work is informed by more than two decades of personal practice and continued study across breath, meditation, yoga, energy work and inner exploration.
Breathwork & Breathing Science
Since 2020, I have trained extensively in Breathwork and breathing physiology, including conscious connected Breathwork with JP Crimi, breathing science with Dan Brulé and O2 Collective, and further study in Breath Science with Peter Litchfield.
My approach today includes both activating Breathwork and gentler regulating practices, with an emphasis on understanding that different breathing techniques create different physiological and subjective experiences.
Reiki & Energy Work
I trained in Reiki from 2019–2022 with Michelle Baker, progressing through to Reiki Master Teacher level. My Reiki lineage continues through Michelle's teacher, Gina Clemente. I am a registered Reiki practitioner with the Swedish Reiki Association, Reikiförbundet.
My continued studies have also included courses with Joe Dispenza exploring meditation, consciousness, neuroscience and quantum perspectives, alongside other approaches to energy and inner states.
Yoga & Meditation
Yoga and meditation have been part of my life since around 2000. My formal studies have included YLab, The Hard & The Soft Yoga Institute / Beryl Bender Birch, as well as meditation and Yoga Nidra studies in Byron Bay, Australia.
Coaching, the Subconscious & Inner States
My training also includes certified coaching (ICF) and NLP with Dani Watson, alongside study and practice exploring the subconscious, meditation and inner and altered states of awareness.
I have also trained in shamanic journeying, working with the traditional framework of the lower, middle and upper worlds.
Professional Practice
Today I work with individuals and groups through 1:1 work, Breathwork, Reiki, retreats, trainings, mentorships and longer processes, as well as facilitating work within organisations.
Before moving fully into this field, I spent more than 15 years in business and leadership, including executive and CEO roles. That experience continues to inform how I understand change, leadership, performance and the human systems beneath them.
I have also been invited to speak about Breathwork, energy, the brain and inner work on podcasts including Prestationspodden, Ninjapodden and Vad Mer?
