Reiki Level 2 (Okuden) — Inner Teachings

You’re usually ready when Reiki has become something you practice, not just something you learned once. If you feel a steady pull to go deeper, want more confidence when working with others, or sense there’s “more” to the energy than what Level 1 opened—Okuden may be the next natural step. You don’t need to be perfect; you just need willingness, respect for the practice, and space to integrate.

Level 2 tends to deepen your relationship with Reiki—your trust, clarity, and ability to work with intention. Many experience that the energy feels more refined, more responsive, and more precise. It can also support you in holding sessions for others with greater structure, presence, and confidence.
For some it opens or invites new or enhanced abilities.

The symbols are traditional tools used in Level 2 to support focus, intention, and specific qualities of healing. You’ll learn how to work with them respectfully and practically—how to connect with them, how to apply them in sessions, and how to let them support (rather than override) your intuition and presence.

It can. For some, Level 2 strengthens intuitive perception—subtle sensing, inner knowing, clearer boundaries. But nothing is forced. You stay in choice. The goal isn’t to become “psychic”; it’s to become present, clear, and trustworthy with energy. We keep the work grounded, safe, and respectful of your pace.

Distant Reiki (distance healing) is a way of offering Reiki when you’re not physically in the same place. It can feel mysterious to the mind, but for many it becomes very tangible through experience—calm, warmth, emotional release, clarity, or a deep sense of being held. In Okuden we explore it in a grounded way, with clear steps, ethics, and lots of practice.

It can be deeper, yes—because you’re meeting the practice from a new level of trust and sensitivity. Some people feel expanded and clear; others feel tired, emotional, or tender for a few days as the system integrates. We move slowly, include grounding, and make space for integration so it’s not overwhelming.

Grounding is a practice, not a force field. In this training you’ll learn simple ways to stay rooted in your body, work with clear intention, and close sessions properly. We also talk about boundaries, energetic boundaries, consent, and how to avoid over-giving—so your nervous system stays steady and your energy remains your own.

Many people begin offering Reiki professionally after Level 2 because it adds tools, structure, and confidence—especially for sessions with others and for distant Reiki. That said, professionalism is also about integrity, practice, and readiness. We’ll talk about ethics, client safety, and how to build your offering in a way that feels aligned.

Yes. If you haven’t studied with me before, I’ll ask for a photo of your Level 1 certificate and we’ll have a short chat beforehand. That way I understand what you learned, we align on terminology and approach, and you feel safe stepping into the group.
