A Breathwork, Yoga & Energy Retreat
11–13 September 2026 · Vadstena, Sweden
There are moments in life when something has ended, shifted, or simply no longer feels quite the same — but what comes next has not yet taken form.
We often want to rush through these spaces.
To understand.
To decide.
To know.
But what if the space in between isn't empty?
What if this is where something else becomes possible?
Between who you have been and who you are becoming.
Between the conscious and the subconscious.
Between the visible and the unseen.
Between what you know — and what you can only sense.
The Space In Between is an invitation to spend three days there.
Not trying to force an answer or become a better version of yourself.
But creating the conditions for something quieter to emerge.
Through breath, movement, energy, stillness, nature and the places within us that we don't always reach through thinking alone.
Can you stay in the space between what has been and what has not yet come?
Come as you are. Leave as more of you

What happens when we step out of the ordinary?
Most of our days are lived in the familiar.
The same surroundings. The same roles. The same thoughts, patterns and ways of responding to the world around us.
And there is nothing wrong with that. It is how we build a life.
But sometimes, to hear something different, we need to step outside of what we already know.
For three days, we create a space where the usual noise becomes quieter — and other parts of you are given room to speak.
Through breathwork, movement, meditation and energy work, we move between different layers of experience.
The body and the mind.
The conscious and the subconscious.
Stillness and intensity.
Science and mystery.
Some practices bring you deeply into the body. Others may take you into altered states of consciousness, where the analytical mind softens and our perception can shift profoundly. Images, memories, emotions and unexpected insights may arise. A sense of travelling somewhere, meeting something, seeing yourself or your life from an entirely different perspective.
Breathwork can sometimes feel surprisingly psychedelic — yet you remain here, in your own body, guided by your own breath and safely held throughout the experience. And sometimes nothing dramatic happens at all. You simply become quiet enough to notice what has been there all along.
This isn't about escaping your life.
It's about stepping outside of it for a moment — so you can meet it, and perhaps yourself, from somewhere new.
What You’ll Experience on this Breathwork & Yoga Retreat?
We'll work with practices that allow you to experience yourself differently - through the body, the breath, the nervous system, consciousness and energy.
Breathwork: Breathwork is at the heart of much of my work — and a central part of this retreat.
This is not pranayama or a few minutes of calming breath. The sessions are longer, immersive journeys where we use conscious connected breathing, music and the body to move beyond the analytical mind and into deeper layers of experience.Breathwork can open remarkably altered states of consciousness. Your perception of time and space may shift. Emotions, memories, physical sensations, imagery and insights can arise. Sometimes the experience is subtle. Sometimes it is profoundly intense — even psychedelic in nature.
But rather than taking you away from yourself, the breath can take you more deeply into yourself.Into the body. The subconscious. The emotional landscape. The places we don't always have access to through thought alone.
This is where some of the most powerful work of the weekend can happen.
Movement & Yoga: The body is not something we leave behind while exploring consciousness. Through yoga, intuitive and somatic movement, we work with sensation, presence, release and expression — sometimes slowly and quietly, sometimes with more energy and freedom.
Not to perform a pose but to listen to what the body has to sayMeditation, Energy & the Unseen: Some things become clearer when we stop trying so hard to understand them.
Through meditation, Reiki and energy work, visualization, intuitive practices, ritual, Tarot and astrology, we explore another layer of the retreat — the territory between what we can explain and what we can experience.Nature, Stillness & Space: Not every moment will be filled with a practice. There will be silence. Nature. Time alone. Conversations around the table. Space to wander, write, sleep, stare into the distance or simply let whatever has moved through you settle.
Because integration isn't what happens after the work - it is part of the work.Food & Community: And then we gather. Around beautiful, homemade, vegetarian food, conversations, laughter and the particular intimacy that tends to emerge when a small group of people step outside ordinary life together.🤗
There is depth here. But there is also pleasure, warmth and life.
Who This Retreat Is For
Maybe something in your life is shifting. Maybe you are standing at a threshold — between what has been and what comes next.
Or maybe nothing is wrong at all. You are simply curious. 🤗
Curious about what happens when you step outside the familiar.
About the deeper layers of yourself.
About consciousness, energy, the body and the unseen.
About what might become audible when life becomes quiet enough to listen.
Curious about whether there might simply be… more.
You don't need to arrive with an intention.
You don't need to know what you want to change.
And you certainly don't need to have everything figured out.
Some people come because they are in the middle of a transition. Others because they feel stuck. Some are longing for depth, inspiration or connection. And some simply feel a pull they can't quite explain.
That is enough.
If you feel the pull
Come as you are.
For three days, we'll step out of ordinary life and into something a little less known - together.
There will be depth. There will be stillness. There will be movement, breath, energy, beautiful food, conversations and probably quite a lot of laughter too.
You may leave with clarity.
You may leave with new questions.
You may simply leave feeling more connected to yourself and to life.
We don't need to decide beforehand what the experience should give you.
We create the conditions — and see what finds you there.
11–13 September 2026 · Vadstena, Sweden
A few spaces remain.
A little about the person holding the space…
Hey, I'm Kia.
I've been exploring the inner world for more than twenty years - through breath, meditation, yoga, energy work, Reiki, inner journeys and the endless curiosity of what makes us change, heal and come more fully alive.
Today, I work as a breathwork facilitator, Reiki Master, Coach and transformational guide. But I don't really experience these as separate modalities.
To me, they are different doorways into the same territory.
The body. The nervous system. The conscious and subconscious mind. Our energy. Our patterns and emotions. And sometimes, the parts of human experience that we don't yet fully know how to explain.
My work has always lived somewhere between the grounded and the mysterious.
I love neuroscience and understanding what happens in the brain and nervous system. I'm equally fascinated by altered states of consciousness, intuition, energy and the experiences that don't fit neatly into what we already know.
Before moving fully into this work, I spent more than fifteen years in the business world, leading people and organizations through change. My original training, however, was as a pilot, followed by an engineering degree in product development.
It may sound like a completely different life, but perhaps it isn't.
I've sometimes joked that I used to land planes. Now I help people land within themselves.
And somewhere along the way, the engineer in me never disappeared either. I still want to understand how things work. What happens in the brain? The nervous system? The body? What changes when we breathe differently, shift our state of consciousness or work with energy?
And then there are the experiences we can't quite explain yet.
I'm interested in those too.
Maybe especially those 😊
How do humans actually change?
I don't believe transformation can be forced. And I don't believe my role is to heal you.
My role is to create and hold a space where you can go deep while remaining grounded and supported — and where your own body, breath, energy and inner intelligence are allowed to lead.
I've held retreats for several years now, and every group reminds me that we never quite know what will unfold when we step outside ordinary life together.
That's part of why I still love this work.
I don't know exactly what these three days will open in you.
And I don't think we're supposed to know beforehand.
Our Retreat Space - Luckerstad Gård
-
Luckerstad Guesthouse is a cosy manor environment nestled in the heart of the Östgöta plain. AnnCharlotte is the owner of the farm and everything from food, to garden, to facilities are created with the utmost love which is felt by the whole atmosphere.
During our days we will enjoy all sessions in a beautiful Orangery, we will eat our meals in the main mansion, in the lush fruit garden or by the pool.

Two cosy houses, the White Guesthouse and the red Cottage, with fresh and clean rooms. In the white guesthouse every room has its own toilet and shower. In the red house 4 persons shares the whole house of two flors, one bathroom. Each participant shares a room with one other person of the same sex during the retreat (if you do not book a private room).
The sharing of rooms is usually a very nice experience, even if you come alone. Fresh linen and towels included.
-
You will have the most gorgeous view of Lake Vättern, the plain and the fantastic sunrise as well as sunset. You live secluded but still close to the medieval town of Vadstena with its castle, monastery church, monastery museum and picturesque alleys.
To take a walk, a run and maybe end up with a dip in Vättern with its clear water and sandy bottom is highly recommended
There will be free time to spend in the beautiful surrounding nature. Take a walk, a dip in the (very cold) lake.
The Retreat- Food
Food is an important part of the retreat experience - something to gather around, enjoy and be nourished by.
Throughout the weekend, we serve colourful, nourishing vegetarian food, prepared with care and mainly locally sourced ingredients. Together with our head chef Ann-Charlotte, we create meals that are wholesome and nutritious, but just as importantly, genuinely delicious.
Our hope is that you leave the weekend not only nourished, but perhaps with a little inspiration to bring home with you.

Shared rooms are often a really nice experience! If you are booking with a friend, let me know when booking, but otherwise I will use my intuition when I pair the rooms.

Many names… Transformational Breathwork, Breathwork Healing, Circular Connected Breathing, 2-part breath most commonly used. It is a very deep and profound experience. Releasing stagnant energies from the physical, mental and emotional bodies. Visiting the conscious and subconscious realms. This is my personal favorite practice ❤️
Lovely!
