Dive Deep: Embracing Your Inner Waters
November invites us inward.
Into the deeper waters of ourselves — our emotions, our patterns, our vulnerability, and the parts of us that don't always live at the surface.
Water can be soft and flowing. Still and reflective. But deep water can also feel dark, powerful and unknown. It asks something different of us than staying close to the shore.
And perhaps the same is true of our inner world.
We often learn to move away from what feels uncomfortable. To control it. Understand it. Push through it. Or keep certain emotions, patterns and parts of ourselves safely beneath the surface.
But what happens when we turn towards them instead?
Embracing Your Inner Waters is a three-day exploration of that deeper territory.
Through breathwork, yoga, meditation, movement and energy work, we'll explore the emotional landscape of the body, the conscious and subconscious mind, the patterns we carry and the places within us that may be ready to move, soften or release.
Held during Scorpio season — traditionally associated with depth, shadow and transformation — this retreat isn't about getting rid of the darkness or becoming a better version of yourself.
It's about being willing to meet more of what is already there.
Because shadow work isn't about searching for what's wrong with us.
Sometimes it is simply about bringing awareness to what has been hidden, protected or pushed away — and discovering what becomes possible when we no longer have to hold it in quite the same way.
We don't only heal by moving towards the light. Sometimes transformation begins when we're willing to meet what lives beneath the surface.

What lives beneath the surface?
We often think of shadow as the darker parts of ourselves — fear, anger, grief, shame, the wounds we would rather not touch. And sure, sometimes it is.
But - the shadow can also hold what we learned was too much.
Too emotional. Too powerful. Too sensual. Too needy. Too loud. Too wild.
The parts of ourselves we softened, controlled or pushed beneath the surface in order to belong, be loved, stay safe or become who we thought we needed to be.
Shadow work isn't about digging for darkness.
It's about becoming curious about what we have learned not to see.
Because beneath the surface we may find pain that still needs our attention.
But we may also find desire. Creativity. Anger that knows where our boundaries are. A voice we stopped using. A part of ourselves that remembers how to feel deeply and be fully alive.
Not everything we find in the dark needs to be healed.
Some of it simply needs to be welcomed back.
What You’ll Experience on this Retreat?
Throughout the weekend, we'll move between practices that work with the body, breath, nervous system, emotions, consciousness and energy — approaching the inner world from different directions.
Breathwork & Emotional Release: Breathwork is at the heart of much of my work and a central part of this retreat. Through longer, immersive breathwork journeys, we move beyond the analytical mind and into the body, the subconscious and the emotional landscape. Emotions that have been held or suppressed may begin to move, sometimes creating space for release, insight and a different relationship with what we carry.
Shadow Work: Through guided practices, reflection, breath and embodied exploration, we become curious about the parts of ourselves that tend to remain beneath the surface. Patterns. Emotions. Protective strategies. Old wounds. But also desires, needs and parts of ourselves we may have learned to hide, control or leave behind.
Movement & Yoga: Through yoga, intuitive and somatic movement, we work with the body as part of the exploration — not simply as something to stretch or strengthen. Sometimes we move slowly and inwardly. Sometimes with more expression, energy and freedom. Listening for what the body knows before the mind has found the words.
Meditation, Energy & the Unseen: Through meditation, Reiki and energy work, visualization, intuitive practices and ritual, we explore the quieter and sometimes less explainable layers of our experience. The places where intuition, sensation, imagery and energy can become another way of listening.
Scorpio, Tarot & the Symbolic: We meet during Scorpio season — a time traditionally associated with depth, transformation, shadow, death and rebirth. Astrology and Tarot become lenses for reflection rather than answers to follow, inviting us to look at our inner landscape from another perspective.
Vulnerability, Connection & Being Seen: Some inner work happens alone. Some happens in relationship. Within a small group, we create space for honest conversation, vulnerability, laughter, connection and the experience of being witnessed without needing to perform or have everything figured out.
Stillness, Nature & Integration: There will also be space where nothing is asked of you. Time in nature. Silence. Rest. Writing. Conversations around the table. Integration is part of the work — allowing what has moved, surfaced or shifted to settle before we rush to understand it.
Food & Community: And throughout the weekend, we gather around beautiful, nourishing vegetarian food made with care. Because going deep doesn't mean we have to be serious all the time. There is room here for pleasure, warmth, laughter and simply enjoying being together.
Who this this Retreat is for?
Maybe there are parts of yourself you are ready to meet more deeply.
An old emotional pattern you keep returning to.
Something you have carried for a long time.
An emotion you have learned to hold back.
Or a part of yourself that has been hidden for so long that you are no longer quite sure what lives there.
But going deeper doesn't always mean confronting something dark.
Maybe, for you, it means loosening your grip on control.
Allowing yourself to rest even when life is busy.
Prioritising yourself without immediately feeling guilty about it.
Letting someone else hold the space for a while.
Listening to what you need instead of what you think you should need.
Maybe you are in the middle of change and feel ready to let something go.
Or maybe you simply feel a pull towards greater depth.
You don't need to know exactly what you want to heal, change or release.
You don't need to arrive ready to confront your deepest shadow.
And you certainly don't need to be in crisis to want to know yourself more deeply.
Some people come because they feel stuck in patterns they are ready to explore. Some are carrying grief, anger, fear or emotions that haven't had much room to move. Others are longing to reconnect with parts of themselves they have pushed aside — their voice, desire, creativity, power or aliveness.
And some simply need three days where they don't have to hold everything together.
That is enough.
If you feel the pull
Come as you are.
For three days, we'll create space to go beneath the surface — through breath, body, movement, energy, stillness and connection.
There may be things you're ready to release.
Things you're ready to understand differently.
Parts of yourself you're ready to welcome back.
Or perhaps what you need most is simply the experience of slowing down enough to hear yourself again.
We don't need to know beforehand.
You only need to be willing to meet what is there.
A little about the person holding the space…
Hey, I'm Kia.
I've been exploring the inner world for more than twenty years - through breath, meditation, yoga, energy work, Reiki, inner journeys and the endless curiosity of what makes us change, heal and come more fully alive.
Today, I work as a breathwork facilitator, Reiki Master, Coach and transformational guide. But I don't really experience these as separate modalities.
To me, they are different doorways into the same territory.
The body. The nervous system. The conscious and subconscious mind. Our energy. Our patterns and emotions. And sometimes, the parts of human experience that we don't yet fully know how to explain.
My work has always lived somewhere between the grounded and the mysterious.
I love neuroscience and understanding what happens in the brain and nervous system. I'm equally fascinated by altered states of consciousness, intuition, energy and the experiences that don't fit neatly into what we already know.
Before moving fully into this work, I spent more than fifteen years in the business world, leading people and organizations through change. My original training, however, was as a pilot, followed by an engineering degree in product development.
It may sound like a completely different life, but perhaps it isn't.
I've sometimes joked that I used to land planes. Now I help people land within themselves.
And somewhere along the way, the engineer in me never disappeared either. I still want to understand how things work. What happens in the brain? The nervous system? The body? What changes when we breathe differently, shift our state of consciousness or work with energy?
And then there are the experiences we can't quite explain yet.
I'm interested in those too.
Maybe especially those 😊
How do humans actually change?
I don't believe transformation can be forced. And I don't believe my role is to heal you.
My role is to create and hold a space where you can go deep while remaining grounded and supported — and where your own body, breath, energy and inner intelligence are allowed to lead.
I've held retreats for several years now, and every group reminds me that we never quite know what will unfold when we step outside ordinary life together.
That's part of why I still love this work.
I don't know exactly what these three days will open in you.
And I don't think we're supposed to know beforehand.
Our Retreat Space - Luckerstad Gård

Luckerstad Guesthouse is a cosy manor environment nestled in the heart of the Östgöta plain. AnnCharlotte is the owner of the farm and everything from food, to garden, to facilities are created with the utmost love which is felt by the whole atmosphere.
During our days we will enjoy all sessions in a beautiful Orangery, we will eat our meals in the main mansion, in the lush fruit garden or by the pool.

Two cosy houses, the White Guesthouse and the red Cottage, with fresh and clean rooms. In the white guesthouse every room has its own toilet and shower. In the red house 4 persons shares the whole house of two flors, one bathroom. Each participant shares a room with one other person of the same sex during the retreat (if you do not book a private room).
The sharing of rooms is usually a very nice experience, even if you come alone. Fresh linen and towels included.

You will have the most gorgeous view of Lake Vättern, the plain and the fantastic sunrise as well as sunset. You live secluded but still close to the medieval town of Vadstena with its castle, monastery church, monastery museum and picturesque alleys.
To take a walk, a run and maybe end up with a dip in Vättern with its clear water and sandy bottom is highly recommended
There will be free time to spend in the beautiful surrounding nature. Take a walk, a dip in the (very cold) lake.
The Retreat- Food
Food is an important part of the retreat experience - something to gather around, enjoy and be nourished by.
Throughout the weekend, we serve colourful, nourishing vegetarian food, prepared with care and mainly locally sourced ingredients. Together with our head chef Ann-Charlotte, we create meals that are wholesome and nutritious, but just as importantly, genuinely delicious.
Our hope is that you leave the weekend not only nourished, but perhaps with a little inspiration to bring home with you.

Many names… Transformational Breathwork, Breathwork Healing, Circular Connected Breathing, 2-part breath most commonly used. It is a very deep and profound experience. Releasing stagnant energies from the physical, mental and emotional bodies. Visiting the conscious and subconscious realms. This is my personal favorite practice ❤️
Lovely!
